Scrantonicity

Breann and Michael came down for the Labor Day weekend to celebrate Michaels Birthday. Breann got Rockband for his birthday so we played that last night after dinner at my house. It was really fun and I filmed their first music video. Oh yea, Matthew and I got Michael a hat that he has to wear when he plays the drums so he can be like Kevin from the Ofiice. It was a good night!

Colorful Me

I dyed my hair soft black. I really like it!

Microsoft Office 2007

Ashley just downloaded the new Microsoft Office 2007 version this morning. It's a free trial for 60 days. So far, it looks pretty cool, and very new and inviting.

In Photoshop class

Ok so last night I went to my Dreamweaver with Flash class and it looks like it's going to be really fun. I can't wait to start on my final project. I get to create a website with cool effects. My teacher seems really cool and the 3 hours went by really fast. Right now I'm in my Photoshop class and my teacher said just go ahead and play on the computer till everyone gets here. She seems really cool also. I'm really excited to learn photoshop and apply it to my website that I'm going to make in my other class. The best thing about making my website is that I can do whatever I want! I think I might make it look like a photography website like Johnson Photography and put my wedding pictures up so it will look professional. I don't know it's just a thought. I still have plenty of time to choose what I want my site to be about. I'm a hands on learner and when I wanted to make a dvd for my parents wedding anniversary I had to learn a new software in 2 weeks and it was very time consuming but I did it and it turned out really good for what I had to work with. I'm sure these classes are going to be easy because I'm a very creative person and I pay very close to detail when it come to this stuff. Happy Friday!

2nd School Day

Ashley wants to join my art class in the mornings. I said, "great!" The unfortunate part is that Ashley did not decide to join until after my first meeting. We will have to see this morning if she will be able to get her foot in the door. I think that we'll be alright, but you just never know. I'm hungry. Let me eat now!

First Day of School & Matthew :)

Is it to early to say I'm over it! haha just kidding! Well, not really, but it could be worse. I'm taking Human Sexuality, Kickboxing, Powerpoint, Dreamweaver with Flash, and Adobe Photoshop. It's going to be an interesting semester. I love Powerpoint and I can't wait to learn Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I'm going to try to get into Art and drop Human Sexuality because this morning I really missed my husband and I suddenly had an epiphany to drop my class and get into his. We do everything together, and 2 heads are better than one. To be honest, I get better grades when we take the same classes. He really pushes me to be a better student, which is one of the many reasons why I love him so much. :) Not saying I do horrible without him by my side, but he makes everything more fun because he is just so great. He is at school right now and I miss him. I don't know what I'd do without my Matthew. It's funny cause ever since I was about 8 or so I always had a queen size bed. I always slept in the middle because of monsters of course, and I thought it would be a really big deal when I got married because I would have to sleep on the side. Turns out, I still get to sleep in the middle. :) Half of my bed is against the wall and he sleeps on that side and he gives me all the space I need. I really feel bad, so I try to sleep as far as I can on the side of the bed but not to far that something can pull my leg down. I know I probably sound stupid but I've seen scary movies and I know what could happen. We get scared. We always talk about an old white haired lady. haha. We freak ourselves out. Anyways, as much as I really like sleeping in the middle, the few nights that we have spent apart, I realized that I'd rather sleep on the side of the bed than sleep alone. I guess that's love. I love him enough to sleep on the side with the monsters. :)

Movie Critic - Lars and The Real Girl

I went to go visit Matthew for his lunch one day and we went into Blockbuster to rent The Scarlet Letter. We rented that and we saw that Blockbuster was having a buy 3 for $20. We always act on these offers, so got about 9 movies. Good Luck Chuck (Dane Cook and Jessica Alba), The Heartbreak Kid (Ben Stiller), In the Name of the King (Jason Statham aka Transporter), Lars and The Real Girl (Ryan Gosling), License to Wed (Mandy Moore, John Krasinski, Robin Williams), Semi-Pro (Will Farrell), The Spiderwick Chronicles (no one really famous), Sydney White (Amanda Bynes), 3:10 to Yuma (Christian Bale and Russell Crow). Yeah we got a lot! The only two we had already seen were License to Wed and 3:10 to Yuma, so we saved to watch those movies last. Out of all the movies the one's that stuck out the most were In the name of the king, Sydney White, and Lars and The Real Girl. Out of those three, to our surprise the best one was Lars and The Real Girl. It looks so stupid but its really cute and funny. Ryan Gosling plays a unusual character and he seems to be a shy guy when it comes to this one live girl. It's funny because it's a small town and Lars (Ryan Gosling) sends for this doll like girl who is really ment for sexual purposes haha but he treats her like she is really alive. The whole town is very supportive and actually ask's Lars if she would like to participate in the town's volunteer activities haha. It's not a Batman Dark Night, but it's a good movie. Oh yeah, the worst movie was Semi-Pro! It was really dumb!

Movie Critic - The Golden Compass

Matthew and I rented The Golden Compass. My parents weren't home so we thought we'd get a happy movie. Scary movies are not fun when we're alone. It really freaks us out :). Anyways, the movie was decent. I mean the effects were really cool and we like movies like that, but in terms of the storyline the Chronicles of Narnia was way better. We did enjoy this movie and obviously there will be a second, but it was hard to really comprehend the story, and for a kid we can see how they wouldn't understand this movie at all. In the movie they talk about dust and supposedly it isn't a good thing. There is more to it but since we didn't really fully understand the movie it's hard to explain. Haha. It's weird. I really like how they have demons by their side. Their demon is an animal of some sort that acts as their souls. It's a neat idea. If something happens to their demon then that's what happens to the human. The bear was our favorite character, however, he doesn't have a demon. Maybe cause he is already an animal he doesn't have one, I don't know. Regardless, we love his voice and the way he talks. He is so cute! Anyways out of 10, 1 meaning horrible waste of 2 hours, 5 meaning good not great, 10 meaning the best. I would give it a 5. Now we have to watch the second one when they come out with it because, although the movie ends, it ends in the middle of the story. It's a to wait to see it on TV kind of movie. Good thing we rent our movies through Redbox because it only cost us $1.08.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland for Matthew's Birthday and we had a blast! We were there for about 12 hours and we were super tired. The Buzz Lightyear ride is highly recommended. Well, all of the rides are great, but the Buzz ride lets you shoot a laser gun. Yeah, it was a good day!

FYI we do not know this guy. After we took the picture and got off the ride we saw that he had leaned in and smiled. It was the laugh of the day! We think he looks a little like Kevin Nealon.
